We had such a splendid time. Its completely magical there.

I wish the weather had allowed for a swim in the waterfall pool for me, but I will have to return to experience that. My husband Paul and the men did go up to the waterfall and loved it.

My highlights were the labyrinth – spectacular! and the Bushman paintings/ hike led by Willem. The veld is stunning at the moment FULL of flowers everywhere.

The great thing about staying in the Barn was its spaciousness – even when the wind prevented us from being outdoors we could all be comfortable and not on top of each other, indoors and have a fire in the hearth.

That said, the fire pit outdoors is great and was used with big enthusiasm.

The basics you have got so right: the things that can make or break your experience: a VERY comfortable bed, good linen and down duvet….wonderful.

Good furniture: sofas and that enormous dining table!!!

We all unanimously agreed that we’d like to return.

We had a great time at Cedar Farmhouse. It’s a really beautiful setting, we loved the walk up to the waterfall (even if the swims were a bit cold!), and Willem and Marta were great, friendly, and only too ready to assist with any questions we had.

We had a fantastic time at the Cob Cottage & are already planning when we can come visit the Just for 2!   We walked as far as the pools along the river which was a fantastic experience & the 1st of many hikes in the area I’m sure! As well as a 1st hike for me after many years of not being able to… A truely marvellous experience!  Thank you for making such a wonderful part of nature open for all to find it.

Willem was a wonderful host, telling us awesome stories & happy to answer any questions we had & very concerned when we returned home late. Loved the honey he harvests! & I don’t think we will ever forget Marta’s wonderful sour bread & roosterbrood, mmm delicious, took it all the way to Cape Town & shared with our friends before heading back to KZN.

Cob Cottage was a thumb-suck choice on the Internet & has so impressed us, we have told everyone we have spoken to. Thank you for creating such a special place like Cob Cottage in such a wonderful setting. We hope u have many years of success.

Thank you, Shivani (who became my fiancée at Just for Two) and I had a most enjoyable stay in the Baviaanskloof.  I’ve previously only charged past like a maniac, doing the Trans-Baviaans MTB race and have always hoped to be able to enjoy a peaceful visit to this beautiful part of our country.

The weather was rather cold, so we didn’t consider swimming through the river to go all the way up the kloof, but even our limited walk to the top of a little rise and back was most enjoyable.

Hopefully I’ll be back there again someday.

Many thanks, we have just returned home after a great trip. Your Just for Two Cottage was stunning and we really enjoyed the location and “quaintness” of the cottage. Pity it is so far from Cape Town otherwise we would be regulars! Would still like to come and spend more than one night in the future.

We had such a great time! Willem was so friendly and Martha made us roosterkoeke and bread and it was unbelievable!

We also hiked to the waterfall and it was so beautiful.

The best of all was that there were no signal. 🙂 We will definitely come again and will recommend the place to all our friends.
