We had a lovely stay at ‘Just for two’. It really is a gem of a place. We loved everything about the cottage and wouldn’t change anything.

It was a real treat to stay in the house which is so wonderfully appointed.  We enjoyed conversations with Willem and the fire he lit for us in the lounge was a real treat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all four of us would have liked to stay at least one more day.

We had such a wonderful weekend and the silence out there was quite astonishing. Cob Cottage was perfect and we would definitely recommend it to friends. It was very special waking Rudi up on his birthday with an awesome view and a hot cup of coffee.

We did the hike to Cedar Falls on Saturday which was so beautiful and we found tracks of otter, warthog, lots of different deer, a small cat. We were also very lucky to see 2 pairs of Black Eagle.  I braved the cold water and jumped in one of the pools.

Saturday night was so clear we could have stayed out stargazing all night.

The bed and linen were wonderful, the bath was spectacular, yes we braved it in the cold air but the water was lovely and warm and all in all we wished we could have stayed a bit longer.

John and Heather

We have had a wonderful time on our 3-week trip around the Karoo, and the stay at the Cedar farmhouse was one of the highlights.

We found the farmhouse very comfortable, and the fire made it very cosy. Heather loved the size of the kitchen, and made some memorable meals.

We loved the indigenous vegetation all around, and the garden around the farmhouse. The cedar trees were of course one of the highlights.

We hope it won’t be long before we return to Baviaanskloof!

We had a wonderful time, unfortunately only stayed a day, we are definately planning a return visit.

It was an amazing, relaxing and beautiful place to chill.

Claire

For years we have heard about Baviaanskloof and have been meaning to visit.

Although we only spent one night at the Cob Cottage it was defiantly worth the visit.

We will be back in the not too distant future.

The reception was great and we settled in very comfortably for a perfect evening under the stars.
